Lars MikkelsenAt the age of 27 He enrolled at the National Theatre School of Denmark. He graduated in 1994. In addition to his part in the drama series that was released globally as The Killing, he subsequently appeared in two other internationally highly acclaimed Danish drama series, Those Who Kill and Borgen III.He was also a key role in an episode of the BBC drama Sherlock as the blackmailer Charles Augustus Magnussen.
