Robyn Rihanna Fenty, often called Rihanna by the Barbadians is an artist and singer. Her most popular songs include Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella, and Take a Bow. Rihanna is an extremely well-known artist, who has sold over 41 million albums around the world and over 150 million songs. Born in Barbados she grew up listening to reggae music and began singing when she was quite young. To escape the tensions within her family along with her parents' constant fights She began singing. When she was in high school she formed a band of musicians and was able to meet producer Evan Rodgers. He was impressed with her talent. In order to make money in the field of professional singing she was asked to relocate in New York. Rihanna's debut album soon went viral and was described as an international sensation. She was a favorite amongst the youth for her peppy, foot-tapping music. It led to her pursuing directing. Nowadays, she's a teenage fan and model. Rihanna is known for good and actively supports several organizations.
